Individual Gifts

All gifts are important to United Way. The Monroe County communities are lucky to have individuals supporting United Way independent of the workplace. Often, individuals have supported United Way through their active years in the workforce. Upon retirement they continue to support United Way through a direct gift to the organization. Other individuals participate through the retiree organization with a former employee. Often professionals and independent business men and women choose to support United Way through a direct gift.

Workplace Gifts

Workplace giving continues to be the single largest area of support to the annual United Way and the programs and services supported through a United Way gift. Whether they chose to use a payroll giving option, a credit card option, a one-time gift option or wanted United Way to invoice them for their pledge, employees through the workplace are making a huge difference in our county.
