Honorary & Memorial Gifts
United Way of
Monroe County accepts gifts throughout the
year from donors who wish to honor or
memorialize a loved one. The donor as well
as the person or family being honored or
memorialized receives a thank-you note,
although the gift amounts and donors' names
are not made public. Names of those
honored or memorialized are listed in the
annual report, making people aware of ways
to contribute to United Way outside of the
traditional fall campaign.
